Empowerment of youth and specifically the girl-child is a core focus area at Center for Achievement. Our older students organize and run Girls’ Clubs in rural communities and, at the Center, hold regular discussions on ‘hot topics’ for girls and young adults.
At Girls Clubs there is a safe platform to talk about serious subjects and enjoy fun activities. Girls are learning about their bodies and their rights. They are introduced to successful women that inspire them. They sing, dance, learn poems, and perhaps most importantly, form a support system for each other that motivates them to be the best they can be.
